Ewald’s background spans engineering drafting, architecture, quantity surveying and project leadership, giving him a unique understanding of both design intent and construction costs.
Today he works alongside clients from project inception through completion, helping them make informed decisions that protect both their investments and their long-term goals.
OUR FOUNDATIONS
For Ewald, Steenkamp Quantity Surveyors was never simply about establishing another consulting practice.
When he founded the business in 2020, he was asking deeper questions about leadership, responsibility and the kind of practice he wanted to build. That journey led him to establish the practice on biblical principles…principles that continue to shape how the firm serves clients, manages resources and makes decisions every day.
